Day to Day Breakdown
Day 1: Arrival and pick up rom Entebbe international Airport.
Our driver will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Upon arrival, you will be briefed about your safari itinerary. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing at your accommodation: Airport Guest House.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with Rhino tracking.
Have an early breakfast and set off for Murchison Falls. Along the way, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting opportunity to see the white rhinos, an activity that takes approximately 2–3 hours. Afterward, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, stay at Fort Murchison Lodge for the night.
Day 3: Game drives and boat cruise in Murchison Falls national park
Start your day with a hearty breakfast and head out for a morning game drive, lasting approximately 3 hours. During this exciting activity, you’ll have the chance to encounter various wildlife, including giraffes, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, elephants, and even big cats.
In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the River Nile, sailing to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll observe aquatic animals such as crocodiles, hippos, and others, while enjoying the breathtaking view of the falls.
After the cruise, return to your lodge for a relaxing and lovely evening. Accommodation: Fort Murchison
Day 4: Visit the Top of the Murchison Falls and drive to Kibale Forest Park.
After breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls to marvel at its powerful beauty and learn about its fascinating history. Later, embark on a journey to Kibale National Park, where you’ll encounter a variety of primates, including different monkey species such as blue monkeys and white colobus monkeys.
Retire for the evening at your lodge as you unwind and prepare for the next day’s activities. Accommodation: Kibale Forest Camp
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, our driver will take you to the chimpanzee trekking briefing site, where you will receive important information about this incredible activity. The trek typically involves about 3 hours of walking through the forest, offering a truly rewarding experience.
Later, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll check in at Bush Lodge for your stay.
Day 6: Game drive and Boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth national park.
Wake up early, have breakfast, and head out for a morning game drive lasting about 3 hours. During the drive, you’ll have the opportunity to track various animals such as elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of bird species.
Afterward, enjoy lunch and embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This fascinating experience allows you to observe several aquatic animals, including hippos lounging on the banks of the channel.
Conclude your day by relaxing and enjoying the evening breeze at your lodge. Accommodation: Bush Lodge.
Day 7: Morning Drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, head out for another game drive in the Ishasha sector to spot different mammals you may have missed the previous day. After the game drive, enjoy lunch and start your journey to Bwindi, taking in the stunning natural scenery and rolling hills of the region.
Upon arrival, settle in and rest for the evening as you prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking experience the next day. Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking experience.
Wake up and enjoy breakfast before heading out for an incredible gorilla trekking experience in the mountainous forests of Bwindi. This fascinating activity involves hours of hiking through the hills in search of the gorilla family you’ve been allocated to. Once you find them, you’ll have about 1 hour to observe and spend time with the gorillas in their natural habitat—a truly unforgettable experience.
Afterward, return to the lodge to rest and unwind. You also have the option to visit the Batwa people and their community to learn about their rich culture and way of life. Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 9: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
After breakfast in the morning, begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Stop for lunch along the way to refuel before continuing to your destination. Upon arrival, embark on a boat ride on Lake Mburo for a truly memorable experience, taking in the serene scenery and wildlife.
Later, enjoy an evening game drive through the park, known for its diverse array of animals such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and various bird species. After the drive, return to the lodge for check-in and a delightful dinner. Accommodation: Eagles Nest Lodge.
Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Wake up and have breakfast before starting your journey to Kampala, passing through Masaka. Make a brief stop at the Equator for a memorable experience and photo opportunity. Continue to Entebbe, where our driver will drop you at the airport for your flight.
