Day Gorilla & Golden Monkeys in Rwanda
Safari Highlights
1: Airport Pickup.
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel for a night as you unwind for the trip.
2: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park.
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning, go visit the Genocide Museum, have lunch in Kigali town, and then drive to Musanze the second largest of the five Virunga volcanoes where your journey of adventure in the Volcanoes National Park begins, spend a night at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
3: Mountain Gorilla Trekking.
After your early breakfast, head to the Volcanoes National Park for a briefing, and a family of gorillas to track will be allocated to you. After finding the gorillas, you have 1 hour to spend with the primates in their natural habitat. You are allowed to take some amazing photos as they are already used by people, and the guide will provide you with any information that makes them special. After the fulfilling experience return to the hotel, freshen up, have lunch, and take the evening to yourself. Gorilla trekking can be a tiring activity but worth the time. Send a night at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
4: Return to Kigali.
After a refreshing night, wake up, and have breakfast as you enjoy the breeze of the volcanoes. Then drive to Kigali, have lunch, and airport transfer.
You can opt, to do a Golden Monkey trekking in the morning before returning to Kigali.
