1. Booking and Payment terms
• A deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
• Bookings shall be made in writing and confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit.
• For gorilla and chimpanzee permits, full payments of permits fee are required upfront as these are non-refundable and subject to availability.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full at least [14-30 days] before the tour departure date.
• For bookings made in less than 30 days before the tour date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Significant changes requested less than [14 days] before departure may not be accommodated.
• Any extra costs arising during the tour, such as fees for optional activities or additional services, must be settled immediately upon request.
• Late payment of the final balance may result in cancellation of the reservation and the deposit forfeited.
2. Payment Methods.
We accept the following payments options.
• Bank Transfer (details provided upon request)
• Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)
• Mobile money (for local clients)
• Online payments plat forms (Pesapal, Paypal- wit applicable fees)
Note: All prices are quoted in USD and Payments must made in the same currency and all transaction charges, including bank or transfer fees, are the responsibility of the client.
3. Cancellations & Refunds.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or the company’s official communication channels. A reservation which is cancelled, reduced in length of stay or in numbers is subject to our cancellation fees at the discretion of the company as below.
• Cancellations made 60+ days before departure: Full refund minus deposit.
• Cancellations 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund.
• Cancellations less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
Failure to appear for the tour on the scheduled date and time without prior notice will be treated as a no-show. No refunds will be issued for no-shows, and any payments made will be forfeited.
In case of cancellation by the client due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund or an option to reschedule will be provided. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.
(Refunds for services provided by external partners (e.g., hotels, transport providers) will be processed based on their individual policies. Any applicable deductions will be communicated during the refund process.)
