As you approach the Mount Elgon region, the landscape gradually transforms into rolling green hills covered with coffee plantations and terraced farms. The cooler mountain climate provides a refreshing contrast to the lowlands, creating an atmosphere of tranquillity and relaxation.

Upon arrival at Sipi Falls, you'll check in at Lacam Lodge, beautifully situated on a ridge overlooking the valley below. The lodge offers panoramic views of waterfalls, cliffs, and the distant plains stretching toward western Kenya.

Spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure, relaxing on the lodge terrace, enjoying the cool mountain air, and taking in the breathtaking scenery. As evening falls, the sound of cascading water creates a peaceful backdrop for your first night in Uganda's eastern highlands.

The trek offers not only incredible views but also insight into local life and traditions. Along the way, you'll encounter friendly residents, learn about traditional farming methods, and witness daily activities in this beautiful rural setting.

Each waterfall presents its own unique character and photo opportunities. The highest waterfall plunges approximately 100 meters into a spectacular gorge, creating a stunning display of mist and rainbows.
