Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to your Hotel

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe town for check-in and relaxation.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short optional city tour of Entebbe, exploring its highlights before settling in. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure, unwinding and resting after your journey as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most iconic wildlife reserve. Along the way, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience, where you will spend 2–3 hours on foot observing white rhinos in their natural habitat—one of Uganda’s most remarkable conservation success stories.

After the experience, continue your journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying scenic views of Uganda’s countryside along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and settle in for a relaxing evening.

Day 3

Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls

Early in the morning, set out on an exciting game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s most rewarding wildlife destinations. As the savannah comes alive, you may encounter herds of elephants, prides of lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and several antelope species moving freely in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, switch pace with a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River, heading toward the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, watch for pods of hippos, sunbathing crocodiles, and a wide variety of birdlife such as kingfishers, fish eagles, and herons. The journey offers a striking perspective of the river as it narrows dramatically toward the thunderous falls, framed by untouched wilderness and sweeping views.

Day 4

Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, set off on a scenic 6–7-hour journey toward the remote north of Uganda, heading to Kidepo Valley National Park. The drive itself is part of the experience, passing through ever-changing landscapes—lush green countryside, rural homesteads, rolling hills, and wide-open savannahs that gradually give way to the more rugged, arid beauty of the Karamoja region.

As you approach Kidepo, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic and untouched, with vast horizons and distant mountain ranges signaling your arrival in one of Africa’s most secluded wilderness areas.

Upon reaching the park, check in at your lodge and take time to relax. The atmosphere here is strikingly peaceful, with few crowds and an overwhelming sense of space. Day 5

Morning & Evening Game Drives

After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Africa’s most remote and rewarding safari destinations. The early hours are ideal for wildlife viewing, when animals are most active across the open savannah. You may encounter large herds of elephants, giraffes moving gracefully across the plains, buffaloes grazing in the distance, and prides of lions resting or beginning their day’s hunt, alongside a variety of antelope species scattered throughout the park.

After the morning exploration, return to your lodge for a well-earned hot lunch and some rest during the heat of the day, surrounded by the park’s quiet, expansive wilderness.

In the late afternoon, set out again for an evening game drive as the landscape transforms under the golden light. This is one of the most beautiful times in Kidepo, when the sun sets over the vast savannah, casting long shadows and warm hues across the plains. Day 6

The Ik Tribe Cultural Experience

In the morning, enjoy breakfast at your lodge in Kidepo Valley National Park before embarking on a culturally rich excursion to meet the Ik community, one of Uganda’s most remote and fascinating indigenous groups.

The visit offers a rare opportunity to interact with the Ik people, learning about their traditions, resilience, and unique survival strategies in the rugged mountains and valleys they call home. Through guided conversations and storytelling, you gain insight into their daily life, cultural practices, and a deep connection to this isolated yet breathtaking landscape.

Day 7

Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, transfer by domestic flight to the southwestern part of Uganda, arriving near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO-listed rainforest famed for its dense vegetation, mist-covered hills, and incredible biodiversity.

Upon arrival, settle into your lodge nestled within or near the forest and take time to relax. The surroundings are peaceful and atmospheric, with cool mountain air, thick greenery, and the sounds of the rainforest creating a calming retreat.

In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community, an indigenous group with deep ancestral ties to the forest. This cultural experience provides insight into their traditional, forest-based lifestyle, including hunting and gathering practices that were once used for survival in Bwindi’s dense terrain. Through music, dance, and storytelling, the Batwa share their heritage, expressing their history, resilience, and spiritual connection to the rainforest in a vibrant and memorable way.

Day 8

Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

Early in the morning, proceed to the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a detailed briefing from the rangers. Here, you’ll be assigned to a gorilla family group and guided on trekking etiquette and safety before setting off into the dense rainforest.

You then begin your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure, hiking through thick vegetation, steep trails, and misty forest paths in search of one of the park’s habituated mountain gorilla families. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas.

Once you locate them, you are allowed a magical one hour in their presence. During this time, you can quietly observe the mountain gorillas as they feed, groom, play, and interact within their family structure. Watching these gentle giants up close in their natural habitat is a rare and deeply moving wildlife experience, set against the atmospheric backdrop of Bwindi’s ancient rainforest.

Day 9

Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, begin your return journey by road from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park back to Kampala, enjoying a long but scenic drive through Uganda’s rolling hills, rural villages, tea plantations, and bustling roadside markets.

As you travel northward, the landscape gradually shifts from misty rainforest highlands to greener farmlands and eventually the urban energy of the capital. It’s a full-day journey that offers plenty of opportunities to take in the country’s diverse scenery and everyday life along the highway.

Upon arrival in Kampala, check in at your hotel and unwind after the journey. The rest of the evening is at leisure—either relaxing at your accommodation or stepping out to explore the city. If you wish, you can visit local craft markets and artisan shops for handmade souvenirs, traditional fabrics, wood carvings, and jewelry, offering a final taste of Uganda’s vibrant culture before departure.

Day 10

Kampala Cultural & Buganda Kingdom Heritage Tour

After breakfast, set out to explore the cultural heart of Kampala, a city rich in history, heritage, and vibrant local life.

Begin with a visit to the historic Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the royal burial grounds of Buganda kings. Continue to the Lubiri (Kabaka’s Palace), where you learn about the traditions, governance, and enduring legacy of the Buganda Kingdom, one of Uganda’s most influential cultural institutions.

Along the way, enjoy a taste of traditional Ugandan cuisine, accompanied by lively cultural music and energetic dance performances that showcase the country’s diverse heritage.

Later, visit local artisan workshops and craft centers, where you can interact with craftsmen and women creating handmade baskets, wood carvings, jewelry, and textiles—offering an authentic glimpse into Kampala’s creative spirit.
