Day 1

Transfer to Bwindi

Your driver will pick from you up from your hotel or from the airport and start your adventure. Begin with a scenic transfer to Bwindi, which takes you through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, characterized by rolling hills, vibrant local villages, and stretches of lush greenery. Along the way, you can make a few stopovers that offer great opportunities for photography, as well as brief cultural interactions with locals, giving you a glimpse into everyday life in rural Uganda.

The journey itself is part of the experience, gradually transitioning you from urban settings into the tranquil beauty of the southwest. By evening, you’ll arrive at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you can unwind, enjoy the serene surroundings, and prepare for the exciting adventure that awaits you the following day.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking Experience

This is the highlight of your safari.

After breakfast, proceed to the Bwindi headquarters for a briefing from rangers. You’ll then enter the forest to track a habituated gorilla family, which can take 2–6 hours depending on their location.

Once found, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Capture this rare opportunity with photos and immerse yourself in the experience as the rangers share insights about these gentle giants.

After completing the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and spend the night in this serene environment, surrounded by rolling hills and tranquil waters—the perfect destination to relax after your gorilla adventure.
