En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting 2–3-hour guided rhino tracking experience, where you’ll have the rare opportunity to observe endangered white rhinos up close in their natural habitat while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.

Start your day with an early breakfast at your lodge in Murchison Falls National Park, then head out for a morning game drive lasting about three hours. This drive takes you through open savannah tracks where wildlife is easiest to spot at this time of day. Expect sightings of giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, elephants, and, if you’re lucky, predators such as lions resting or moving through the grasslands.

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River, sailing upstream toward the base of Murchison Falls. The trek can take several hours depending on their location, offering an immersive experience through one of Africa’s most biodiverse forests.
